Environmental Policy

Microgil is committed to environmental protection and the health and safety of its workers and the surrounding environment. It operates under the regulations and standards of the Israeli Ministry of Environmental Protection. In addition, Microgil is the first company in its industry to adopt the environmental standard TA LUFT 2002, the stringent German standard for air pollution control.

Business practice
• 100% of the water in the MICROGIL production plant is recycled.
• Scrap materials are collected and used as construction material on local road-building projects.

Environmental impact
• Calcium carbonate powder extends the life of other, more limited resources by increasing the bulk of materials such as paper, plastics, paints and resin-based products.
• Natural gravel offers a completely chemical-free alternative to playground surfacing.
