Microgil is Israel’s leading manufacturer of industrial minerals: calcium carbonate powders and accurate aggregate for the industrial sector. We specialise in creating the world’s highest quality fillers, and offer the industry’s most qualified technical support.

Microgil is a subsidiary of Kfar Giladi Quarries, which operates four quarries and ten subsidiary plants throughout Israel, and is a major national supplier to the road building and construction industries. It is an authorised supplier to Israel's Ministry of Defense and Public Works Department, the national roadwork authority.

Established in 1957, Kfar Giladi Quarries and its subsidiaries are owned by Kibbutz Kfar Giladi in the northern Galilee of Israel.

Our Quality Assurance, Engineering and R&D departments are staffed by a team of professionals licensed and certified by the Technion – Israel's prestigious Institute of Technology.

Standards

Since 1994, Microgil/Kfar Giladi Quarries has been certified compliant with Quality Management Standard SI ISO 9001:2000 for the manufacture of natural and treated powders and accurate aggregates for industrial, agricultural and other uses.

Our accurate aggregate for playgrounds is certified by the Standards Institution of Israel as meeting the uncompromising Israeli standard for playground surfacing and protection against injury, in accordance with Standard 1, 1498 of Israel's Standards Regulation, 1982.

Our accurate aggregates for PH reduction in water-desalination systems, are certified under section 12 of Standard 5348.

Accurate aggregates as calcium additives for animal feed are produced under the permit of Israel's Ministry of Agriculture.

Microgil is the first company in its industry to adopt the environmental standard TA LUFT 2002, the stringent German standard for air pollution control.
